We are pleased to announce that our next WIC meeting will be hosted by ArcelorMittal Ghent, one of Europe’s largest and most advanced steel plants.

After the WIC meeting and lunch, you will have the opportunity to visit the steel plant. This visit will take about 2,5 hours. The guided bus tour will include several stops and visits of installations. Please indicate during your registration if you wish to participate to the site visit, as places are limited.

As a member of the Waterstof Industrie Cluster (WIC) since 2021, ArcelorMittal Belgium collaborates on hydrogen-based technologies and low-carbon solutions, reinforcing its role in Europe’s green industrial transformation. Hydrogen plays a role in the company’s decarbonisation strategy. During the WIC meeting the RecHycle project will be clarified.
ArcelorMittal Belgium is collaborating with various partners, research centers, and universities to develop carbon-neutral steel. The goal of the company is to be carbon neutral by 2050.
